Let's face it, I love my readers and the batches of nice emails they send me. So as a token of my gratitude, I've decided to ship out a dictionary every other month to help spread the French language. If you'd like to win one then continue through the PunchTab application. You have the possibility to earn a total of 4 entries! Bonne chance!! The third dictionary will be shipped out on September 30th, 2014.

Bonjour John
ReplyDeletePlease allow me to introduce myself. My name is Hilary and it has been my lifelong dream to learn French to full fluency. I have been studying French for 15 months, 12 months of which was a self study regime. However, since February of this year I have become a student at Cardiff University's Centre for Lifelong Learning and am now working my way to doing a degree in French.
Yesterday, I came across your site by accident when I was looking for a site giving Geographical and Geological terminology in French; unfortunately without any success. This site you have created is absolutely brilliant and such a fantastic source of information about French everything. I especially love the 100 French songs. I collect French songs and write the lyrics as this is a really good way of learning and remembering new words and phrases.
Once again, thank you for this wonderful site which I have now incorporated into my daily study plan and I shall also let my fellow students know about it also.
A bientot
Hilary

ReplyDeleteDon't worry it's not going anywhere anytime soon
DeleteI'd like to see English songs (oldies/ standards) that have been performed in French, along with the printed English and French words. Examples: I'll take Manhattan, Tonight's the Night, I've got you babe, Chicago,
ReplyDeleteDo more articles about food. Lol
ReplyDeleteId like to see articles both in French and English as a reference point for active learners such as myself, and perhaps the texts categorized by level(IE- beginner, intermediate, advanced, etc). Other than that, this is great and I have it bookmarked under my favorites.
ReplyDeleteyour page is great already, I especially love the songs. but it would be great if there were french articles...
